Happy Cinco de Mayo Eve!  I will be going to the doctor tomorrow but, I will also be attending a taping of The Monique Show!  I'm excited!  I don't know what I'm going to wear yet but, I must be FABULOUS! :)  My girlfriends and I are attending the show together.  Then, of course, we're going to get some yummy Mexican food and Margaritas!!! 

The Play Date Cafe had a beautiful inspiration this week.  It goes perfectly with the Mojo Monday sketch too.  Here are the juices and berries:

I always like to incorporate something off centered and messy...it's kind of my signature.  I like the leaves stamped directly on to the textured paper and the circles where the sentiment is.  It's totally me!  Enjoy your Wednesday!

Fun Mojo Monday #188

This is turning out to be a terrific week!  It's my Senior year of school, and I'm getting ready for my Demonstration Teaching.  Whew...it's been a long time coming and I'm excited to put this chapter of my life behind me!  Also, folks seem to be slowly trickling onto the Triplicate Trials Tuesday challenge blog!  That's great because I think people will really enjoy these three-part challenges!  Enough rambling...here are the juices and berries of the Mojo Monday sketch:

As you can see, I'm really enjoying my new VERVE stamp sets.  The sentiment is PTI though.  These cards are a little fun and fresh...not really my style but, we all should try new things from time to time right?  Enjoy your hump day!

Live! Mojo #187

Greetings Bloggeritas!  Some days I wake up and I feel like I've never been to sleep.  That is becoming my norm rather than, my exception.  In the hustle and bustle of life, being a mother, a wife, a full time employee, a full time student and a small (teeny tiny) business owner, I get bogged down.  I don't carve out much me time and when I do...it's not very much.  I rarely stop and smell the roses anymore!  So anyway, I used this Mojo Monday sketch to remind myself to live!  I hope you enjoy my card.  Here are the juices and berries:

Mojo Monday 182

This week has been a struggle.  Picard is 18 months old and is in FULL TODDLER mode!  Sometimes I feel like I'll never get pass this stage but, I know I will.  He'll be on to the next thing and mommy will be longing for these toddler days again.  Since he is our first and only child...I need to be relishing every moment.  I'm pretty sure (at the ripe old age of 28) that I can't go for a second round.  I would like a little girl but...nope! LOL!  Seriously...no.

My photography game is slipping!  Well, I was operating on fried mommy brains when I took this photo so, don't judge me! LOL!

I never take pics that show how I used a pop dot to add dimension to a card.  This time I did.  I had to make another sympathy card and I always try to make the kind of card that I'd like to receive.  I hope the intended recipient is comforted by this card.

Mojo Monday #181 and Totally Hues #3

Good Evening Folks!  What a long day!  It's 10:18pm and I'm pretty sure that every part of my body is exauhsted.  Eh, what are you gonna do?  I'm fortunate to have a job and a family...that's worth the tired feeling at the end of the day.

So, let's get down to the crafting!  I made a card for two challenges.  Mojo Monday sketch #181 and Totally Hues #3. 

Before I present the juices and the berries of the challenges I just want to say something that's been on my heart.  I've found that you should only do things (outside of the things that you have to do to sustain yourself and your family) that make you happy.  Don't do it for glory, flash, recognition or anything else but the sheer joy of doing it.  That's how I feel about my cards and other crafts.  I do them because I love it and that makes every card special.  Soooo...the moral of the story is, sing because you love it, dance because you love it, bake because you love it.  Don't worry about what others are doing and how they'll recieve your work...just do it to bring joy to your soul.

That is my Confucious bit for the night...now on to the juices and berries!

Totally Hues Challenge + Mojo Monday #180

Well HEL-LO Bloggeritas!  You know blogging is addictive.  I haven't made a post since 2/27 and I was itching to get back to TTIMB!  You know what else is addictive?...Papertrey Ink stamps.  I am in LUV with the new stamp set "Button Boutique".  It's so cute and vintage-esque...yes I just created a word...roll with it.

I used my new favorite stamp set to make a card for the new Totally Hues color challenge by Heather over at "Witty Title Here".  I enjoy her blog and her card style.  I paired that challege with the Mojo Monday #180 sketch.  You could use a circle or a square card.  I of course chose the square.

I'm going to send this card to my boss/fairy god-aunt.  She has been on a leave of absence from work due to cancer.  I miss her and I want her to know that I'm thinking of her.  She would really like this card.

Glory Hallelujah! (Oh, and a Challenge too!)

Bloggeritas (yeah?), oh, Bloggeritas (yeah?), I feel good today!  Because BLOGGERITAS feel good EVERYDAY! YAY!

It never hurts to do a little cheer every now and then!  We all need perking up!  So, yesterday, a blogger that I have the utmost respect for gave TTIMB a shout out!  Julie from, Julie's Open Window placed my little old blog on her "Newer Blogs You Must See!" list.  I am grateful, oh so grateful.  I had to dance a little jig and shout Glory Hallelujah when I saw that! :)  Thank you Julie!

Alright.  Moving right along.  I played along with the Mojo Monday (MOJO 179) sketch challenge this week.  I know you're super surprised. Remember I'm broadening my challenge horizons so, this is going to be a two-fer.  I'm using the Color Throw Down  (CTD 129) here as well.  Here are the juicy details:

 Let me be frank with you and tell you that I had difficulty with this one.  Primarily because I used an A7 sized card as my card base.  Damn my Martha Stewart scoring board for having all the card sizes listed!  If hadn't seen it...I wouldn't have cut my card stock that large! I have vowed to step outside of my comfort zone and let me tell you...I almost stepped off of a cliff !  It ended up working out but, it was some smoke in the city there for a while. 

I can appreciate the folks that continuously take risks in their lives.  You know, policemen, firemen, military folks...because obviously Mr. Risky and I aren't going to have that good of a relationship.
