PDCC #89

Hey Bloggeritas!  It is one HOT day here in Atlanta!  My husband and I purchased a new car today and while we were at the dealership, I thought that my skin was going to melt away!  It was sooo hot!  I think we bought the car just to escape the heat! LOL!

Anywho...my son's teacher, Ms. Shirley is celebrating her birthday tomorrow so, I wanted to make her a card because she does really well with him.  Especially during this difficult potty training ordeal!  I have decided to enter this card into the Play Date Cafe challenge as well.  Here are the juices and berries:

Well, what do you think?  It came out pretty swell if I do say so myself!  And trust me, I SAY SO!  I used a technique I learned from one of the Papertrey Ink Make It Monday challenges on the carnation.  I stamped the image onto the butter cream cardstock and then I used my Copics to give the flower definition.  I love how it pops!  Okay...talk to y'all real soon... ya hear?

Hi Rochelle! You've used our challenge colors bee-autifully here on your feminine CAS card. THanks for playing with us this week!

Congrats on your new car! It is hotter than snikes here too. Your card is gorgeous. I like how you piled it all into the middle but gave it some depth by adding those pins and ribbon. Thanks so much for playing along at The Play Date Cafe.
