Weekly Session of...Things I'm Afraid to Tell You...

What's up dear Bloggeritas!?!?  As I vowed last week, I'm going to have a weekly "Share Bear" moment and tell you some things about me that I'm kind of scared to tell...

First up...
I curse.  A lot.  Not every other word.  But, my conversation is peppered with lightly sauteed expletives and what others may deem as ugly words.  I don't curse around my child or with my mother but, outside of that...I curse.  That's actually how my blog name came about.  There is a saying..."Two tears in a bucket..."F" it"!  I like that saying.  It's the equivalent of saying "Don't cry over spilled milk", "It will be what it will be" or "Don't try to make things out to be more than they are".  So, the saying has dual meaning for me.  One the one hand it's a declarative statement saying hey, I am what I am...accept me or not.  Then, on the other hand it is saying...the papercrafting world is huge and this little piece of blog real estate is just a drop in the gigantic bucket of papercrafting but, it's my drop and I'm proud of it!  Can you IMAGINE how surprised I was to find out about Two Peas? LOL! I'm sure their name has a much more "G" rated beginning!

Second...
I'm not a Christian.  I don't have anything against Christianity or Christians.  I was raised in New Birth Missionary Baptist Church...yeah, home of Eddie L. Long (I know...I know).  However, when I grew up, studied religion and decided what made life worth living for me, I realized that I believe there is a higher power.  I just couldn't say if that power is God, Allah, Yahweh, Siddhartha, Muhammad, Vishnu or Buddha.  Can you imagine how difficult this is for me living in Atlanta, GA a.k.a. "The Bible Belt"?  It would actually be more comfortable for me to lie and say that I'm a Christian.  All my girlfriends are, my family is, most of my co-workers are... BUT...no matter what God you serve, I know that being decietful is a big no-no and thus, I will not pretend just to fit in.  I live my life with morals and scrupels that are very true to most religious codes.  I just don't subscribe to any specific religion.  I still believe in miracles, blessings, goodness, love and light...

Third...
I have ELEVEN tattoos.

I know you may be thinking...this is a paper crafting blog and paper crafting only!  Yes, this is a paper crafting blog BUT...my paper crafts are a reflection of me and I just want to share a bit about me too.  I hope you keep coming back so we can get to know each other better!

Well, I'm Christian and don't have any tats, but I can curse! I've been at it a long time, but only other people who curse know and even then most don't know how bad it is...

:-) Love this one, Rochelle! I don't curse, and I don't have any tatts, but I'm okay with the fact that you do. ;-) Great photos! Your hair is magnificent. I like extra stuff on papercrafting blogs. The best, most fun blogs have something extra.

Actually, I love that you give your readers a peek into the "real you"!!! I know that I always appreciate someone's projects more when I have a sense of the person behind the ink and paper! I would hope that all crafters are not alike...or wouldn't we all have our cookie cutter projects that are all just the same?? Don't be afraid to tell anyone about yourself....it is all a part of the wonderfulness that makes you so creative! Yay for you!

I love this post!! You rock!

I always wondered about your blog title. I heard the saying from "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil," except that one is, "two tears in my bucket...mother eff it!" I cuss like a sailor but won't go into too much detail in your comment section!! Haha!

Great post. Of course you should share who you really are. It is part of your creativity and just so you know, I'm agnostic, too. I can curse with the best of them but, alas, I have no tats. I figured I have enough surgery scars and stretch marks that I should leave any virgin skin I still have intact.
BTW, love your hair...

A girl after my own heart! I curse like a sailor, am most definitely not a Christian and have two tarts - for now anyway... :)
Love these posts where we get to learn a bit about you. Hope you keep them up!
