ColourQ #92

I feel like I've been running a very, very long marathon!  I can't tell you how weary and tired I feel.  This has been a very long two weeks.  Besides the love of my family, crafting has helped me through this time.  I'm so grateful for paper and ink!  I made an unusual card last night.  So unusual, I thought that I would just keep it and add it to my "re purpose" stack.  But, my husband said that he liked it and he thought it was nice (which is a BIG deal because he is a staunch critic).  So, I thought I'd go ahead with my plan to enter it into the ColourQ challenge this week.  Here is the tea:

Okay, I told you it was unusual!  Don't judge me!  This is the first card that I have ever made with no sentiment.  I added one after I took the photo.  Maybe it will make more sense if I explain it.  Okay, a girlfriend of mine has twins, a boy and a girl.  Their birthday is coming up and I wanted to make a neat card.  I love jungle themes and so, voila...this card was born.  Eh, maybe my mojo is off.  I'll try again tonight.

Okay, I immediately thought to myself that this would be a wonderful baby card, and then I saw that you made it for twins! How perfect! I adore this little scene and the cute twine bow on the elephant's head. Thanks for sharing this with us at the ColourQ this week!
