Clean and Simple 137 + PDCC 78

Even though I went to bed late, I woke up feeling refreshed.  My family and I had a terrific weekend.  Picard used the potty THREE times yesterday and this is only his second week potty training!  Terence and I couldn't be more proud!  I used to think that our wedding day (almost five years ago in June), was the most amazing thing I had experienced in life...Picard TRUMPS that by a mile one million miles!  Don't get me wrong, I love the hubby (his 29th b-day is this week YAY!), it's just his doppelganger, our son, is lighting up our lives and it's a wonderful feeling.

Well, enough about me...let's get down to the juices and berries of the Clean and Simple sketch #137 and The Play Date Cafe Challenge #78:

Julie came up with a great inspiration that has Spring and MOM written all over it so....I made a mother's day card!  Surprised right? :)

Isn't that nest adorable?  I purchased it from an Etsy store called Craft Zany after I had seen their nests on quite a few cards.  I had to have some and when I got them (about a month ago), I was intimidated by them and never used them!  Now, I'm glad that I did!  Enjoy your Monday!

That nest really IS cool! I had never seen one before now. Your mom card is so soft and pretty. And I have to say, regarding that emotion you feel as a mom....me too! I love my husband and had the best time at my wedding, but when our daughter was born - whoa. A feeling like no other overcame me. She is twelve now, but I still remember how strong those emotions are when the kids are little.

Thanks for sharing your work with us at The Play Date Cafe!
